  • Great question! We ask people to commit to 8 sessions. From years of experience, we know that if an individual does 8 sessions, they’re well on their way to managing their diabetes. After that, we don’t have an ongoing commitment. Everything you need to manage your diabetes can be communicated in that time, and then after that we’re with you as little or as long as you need us.

  • After the initial get-to-know-you session, our session times are a mix of education, individualized goal check-ins, and exercise progression. Your plan is tailored to you, and we maximize each session to work on the areas you need the most help or accountability with.

  • Once you have your plan, sessions are a mix of in-person meetings, virtual one-on-one meetings (using Skype, Zoom, or any platform convenient for you), and check-ins by phone or text as well.

  • After the initial get-to-know-you session, our session times are a mix of education, individualized goal check-ins, and exercise progression. Your plan is tailored to you, and we maximize each session to work on the areas you need the most help or accountability with.

  • We try to keep it low-key but impactful. We can break the ice talking about your favorite sports or the weather, but our goal is to hear about your needs, your goals for managing your diabetes, creating a clear vision for improvements in your life once your diabetes is managed, and whether we’d be a good fit to work together towards your goals.

  • Your next step would be a 60 minute one-on-one visit where we’d get to know you better, dive further into your goals, assess where you're at in your journey of managing your diabetes, and further develop your personalized plan.
